Since it was founded in 1997, World Without Mines has cleared more than 58,000 explosive ordnances. This achievement would not have been possible without the remarkable work of our local deminers, but the many people who have supported us and given us the means to carry out our work have also played a vital role. World Without Mines is an independent foundation with lean structures and our foundation board members do a lot of work on a voluntary basis. This keeps administrative costs down and directly benefits the people living in areas where mines pose a danger.
