Cluster Munition Monitor 2025
All 2024 documented victims of cluster munitions were civilians. Children account for around 42% of the victims.
Cluster munitions were used in countries such as Ukraine, Myanmar, and Syria. In addition, there have been victims of unexploded remnants in several affected states.
Over 100 km² of land was cleared in 2024. At least 83,452 unexploded submunitions and other remnants were destroyed – the highest number in five years.
